Grun D was also asking, among other things, what you do, if anything, on the 8-9th of May, the day Russians still celebrate some kind of victory. Which is really pathetic now, if you ask me, but I got an unpopular opinion about this. Oh, and that there is some kind of stupid demeaning joke going around, of which I never heard of, that if you fart at a dinner table in Germany, it serves as a compliment to the host, or something like that.

Вполне нормально, многие и так не могут. Ошибки мелкие, может артикль тут или там забыл, построение одного предложения немного неверное, а так все хорошо.

Yeah, I know, it's like a foreigner walked in our village for the first time, and locals never seen one. Started asking the strange creature from the far land, how things are.
Whatever. This topic is not just for BumBum, but for anyone who might have been checking out this forum but can't speak/type in Russian. Plus a chance for our locals to practice some English. Actualy, I've been waiting for an excuse to start such a topic.

What are your favorite movies and have you seen some germany ones? Did you like them?

 
I haven't seen many, so happens I learned English and Spanish first, and so I watch movies primarily in those languages. But I did love Lola Rennt, watched it four times in theaters, even tried to learn German 'cause of it, but never went past some basic sentences and counting. So my knowledge of German movies revolves around Franka Potente, love her, seen Der Krieger und die Kaiserin as well as Anatomie, and some others.
