Band of Brothers Blu-ray in Works for 2008


In the latest issue of Home Media Magazine, writer John Latchem interviewed Sofia Chang, Senior Vice President of Marketing for HBO Video with regards to the upcoming release of the mini-series 'John Adams' for DVD (no Blu-ray release has been announced at this time). At the conclusion of the interview, he asked when the popular 'Band of Brothers' mini-series would see Blu-ray release. She replied that a version was in the works for release later this year.

Currently, the only way to see 'Band of Brothers' in high definition is to import the now discontinued HD DVD releases from Japan (which were released by Toshiba). Now that HBO is readying the set, those highly anticipating the set (yours truly included) await anxiously for an official release date.

Нет, huessos с костями никак не сассоциировал, но испанское звучание улыбнуло :))
Кста, а чем тебя привлекло именно испанское издание?

10 июня Фокс выпускает в США "Телепорт" или "Jumper". А поскольку это Фокс, то и региональную защиту получите.

Дошли HD DVD дисочки... Прикольно, на "300" есть PiP-версия всего фильма без эффектов (Bluescreen Picture-in-Picture) - мне куда больше нравятся естественные цвета, чем "убитые" фильтрами и искусственными шумами. Думаю, можно ли эту версию "выдрать" оттуда и в каком она там разрешении...
Жаль, что на Blu-ray такого пока нет.
