Хм... Она для XE1...
Dear All,
I have been informed about the following by a great guy in Technical within Toshiba UK.
The Toshiba engineers in Japan are confident that Firmware 4.0 will fix the infamous "jaggies" issue. This 4.0 Firmware will be released in the Autumn.
In the meantime if you want to downgrade to Firmware Version 2.7 HD-XE1 then Toshiba do have a disc that will do this. (I do not know if this is the same method that Kingsfats etc have on here).
Customers should ring the Toshiba helpline regarding the “jaggies” issue, and they will be told that the fix is on it's way, or, if they choose, they can downgrade to Firmware V2.7
So, in summary... A fix (in the shape of Firmware 4.0) is on it’s way in the Autumn, but if you are suffering with “jaggies” now and can’t wait until then... there is the “revert to V 2.7 option”.
NOTE: Please remember... that V2.7 will reintroduce any disc playback issues that were fixed by the later updates. (I do NOT know if this affects any “multi-region” or “region-free” abilities of the player).
Also, the sending out of the discs may take a little longer than usual as they will be copied up if and when they are requested. Hope that is all clear.
I think Toshiba are doing the best they can to help customers with this issue... and they monitor the forums for feedback and issues. Thanks so much to this person within Toshiba who has been so helpful in the past and continues to be.
I hope that this “jaggies” issue is sorted in the Autumn and no further quirks and issues are introduced.
