А может кто-нибудь объяснить, что это за блю-рей издания отдельных сезонов Battlestar Galactica обещаны на американском Амазоне с 4-го августа? Они почему-то от неясной студии Phantasm Imports Inc, а не от Universal. Это какая-то "левизна" наверно? 

Всё, что "издает" эта неясная студия, - это импорт из каких-то стран в США, в данном случае, скорее всего, из Европы или Австралии.
В Австралии, например, 4 сезон выходит как по частям, так и сборный: http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/807069

Спасибо за пояснение. В австралийском 4-ом сезоне тоже 6 дисков. Можно было бы подумать, что это совершенно то же самое, что обещается в Америке от Phantasm Imports Inc. Но на Ezydvd производитель указан как Universal, а регион как B. Получается, что это не то же самое...
 
А вообще какова рекомендация? Никогда не брать эти Phantasm Imports Inc?
 
Что касается Галактики, я бы с удовольствием взял весь 4-ый сезон на блюриках, даже если в двух отдельных коробках 4.0 и 4.5. Но от Universal в Америке пока обещан только 4.5, а про отдельный 4.0 или про общую коробку 4.0+4.5 ничего пока не сказано. Выпустит ли Universal такую коробку (или 4.0 отдельно)? Конечно я бы лучше от Universal взял, а не сомнительное Phantasm Imports Inc...

Да неужели не понятно, что этот фантазм - это импортер, а не изготовитель дисков?.. Просто таким методом прикрыт импорт, а реальный изготовитель всё равно будет Universal, только не американский. И на этих коробках не будет ни слова про какой-то там фантазм.
Брать от фантазма смысла нет из-за цены, а проще выяснить, где нужные диски выпущены на самом деле (искать страны, где оно уже вышло в аналогичном наполнении), и смотреть сколько там оно стоит.

При этом, не совсем понятно, коллекционные финтифлюшки одинаковые или разные в этих наборах?
Осталось дождаться 29.09...

Совершенно верно, будет издание на 2-ух блюрах или 4-ёх двд дисках. При этом на блюрах будут эксклюзивные допы.
Далее, с часами всё понятно (кстати, выглядят неплохо), а вот что справа? Такая белая обвальная финтифлюшка на последней фото?

Вот и меня интересует, потому как на фоте она в двд-комплекте, а брать надо блюрейный (тем более, что там больше допов).

Smithfield is also known as the site of William Wallace’s execution, along with other terrifying spectacles when heretics, rebels and criminals were put to death.
Battlefields of the Scottish Rebellion— Two major Scottish battlefields, Falkirk and Bannockburn, will be presented as 3D models that can be explored for further investigation into the military strategies and timetables employed in each. Topography, weapons, troop movements, and leadership data can also be accessed. An alternate playing mode will allow the story of each battle to unfold in an “automated” fashion, much like the interactive dioramas displayed at historical site museums around the world.

Universal Pictures International Entertainment have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of Gladiator on 7th September 2009. Ridley Scott’s award-winning epic stars Russell Crowe as Maximus, a Roman general who is betrayed and his family murdered by a corrupt prince, he comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge.
The press release confirms an international rollout of the title around the world in September and October. Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing the same Blu-ray disc in US and Canada on 1st September 2009.

Гладиатор в двух версиях радует. А вот синие шняги "Sapphire Series" - нет. Уж больно они артворк, имхо, портят.
