Думаю, что всё-таки увидят. Только в 2012 году, либо в 2013. Сейчас сначал всякие Палочки, книжечки и прочие издания понавыпускают, а потом уже доведут начатое до ума.

Никто не будет выпускать просто Ультимативное издание последних двух серий, когда уже заявлена Ультраультимативная новая серия. Буржуи по этой части уже бучу подняли. Тут работают законы маркетинга, а на чаяния коллекционеров корпорациям плевать. Разве что выпустят два бокса в ближайшие 2 недели? Но что-то слабо верится в это чудо.

Эээй, так не чееестно. Тоже подумал, 'а компот?' Как же без последних двух частей в красивых толстых картонных коробчках с диджипаками и книжечками?! Блин, сцуки. Знаете что они сделают? Вложат всё то, что было в этих ультимативных изданиях в какую-нибудь 'эксклюзивную', убого-неуклюжую упаковку, и скажут, хотите остальные две, покупайте всё заново!

А мне кажется они выпустят ещё 2 части, а потом в 2012 насуют ещё каких-нибудь припрятанных доп материалов и народ опять пойдёт покупать =)

Они вообще 29 декабря собираются прекратить продажу франшизы. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=7614 Deadline are reporting that WHV are looking at a vault style release schedule for their multi-billion dollar Harry Potter movie franchise. The report indicates that WHV are going to pull all versions of Harry Potter from sale on December 29th 2011.
This means that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection will have just eight weeks on general sale before they are pulled from shelves and supply becomes seriously constrained.
WHV have not announced their future plans for the franchise and how they will take advantage of the vault, but we can expect Collectors Editions or Special Editions released on an annual basis with extra features and deleted scenes taking advantage of holiday season purchasing habits.

На чём оно базируется? Мнение твоё? Для таких релизов предзаказы за полгода стартуют, а пока о новых изданиях ни слуху, ни духу. Так что их полное забвение во сто крат вероятней, чем твоё "сугубо мнение".

All right, I've had the chance to talk this afternoon with Jeff Baker - the Executive VP and General Manager for Theatrical Catalog at Warner Home Video - about the newly-announced Harry Potter BD/DVD moratorium. Obviously, WHV expects that the peak consumer demand for these films is going to spike with the 11/11 BD and DVD release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and that it will continue through the holidays and the end of the year. The moratorium will start on 12/29, but even though all existing Blu-ray and DVD releases of the Potter films will no longer be shipped to retailers after that date, the studio still expects that enough existing inventory will remain to meet any lingering demand for the titles until well into 2012. It hasn't yet been decided exactly when the moratorium will end, but Baker told me that it shouldn't be longer then 12 to 18 months. So it could end in late 2012 or early 2013. At that point, all of the product that's already been released will return to stores, and the studio will release the much-anticipated Ultimate Collector's Editions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on Blu-ray and DVD. So those of you who have been collecting the UCEs can rest easy - you will get the last two films as UCE sets eventually as well. In addition, at that time Warner Home Video will also release additional, new Harry Potter Blu-ray and DVD product with substantial new features. (Baker wasn't ready to talk details on this obviously, but it will probably include some kind of new super-deluxe BD and DVD box set of all the films with newly-produced content, among other SKUs.) And of course, the idea will be to make the Harry Potter re-introduction a major "event" release for fans and retailers.
The upshot is, this moratorium isn't of the Disney variety (where films go away for 5-10 years at a time) and those of you who are buying the UCEs instead of the more basic movie editions CAN indeed expect UCEs of the final two films when the moratorium ends. So there you go. Hopefully, that answers the most pressing questions and alleviates any concerns. Вздохнули с облегчением.
