Les rivieres pourpres from Sony/Gaumont is scheduled for release on August 21st, 2008. This title features a couple of my favourite French actors - Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel. Also from Sony/Gaumont, 36 quai des orfevres is scheduled for September 23th, 2008. This one features Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Depardieu, directed by Olivier Marchal. From the same director as 36 quai des orfevres, recent French movie Mr 73 again features Daniel Auteuil and will also scheduled for release on September 23th, 2008.

Making an early announcement to retailers, Universal is planning to bring 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall,' 'Knocked Up' and '40-Year-Old Virgin' to Blu-ray this Fall.
According to early word from distributors, Universal has set a September 30 street date for the $60 million-grossing 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' on Blu-ray (day-and-date with the standard DVD), which will join the Apatow-directed smashes 'Knocked Up' and '40-Year-Old Virgin' (both receiving their Blu-ray premiere).
Also planned is a Judd Apatow 3-pack box set, which will bundle all three stand-alone releases in one collection (no additional supplemental features or exclusives are expected to be included).
As Universal has not yet officially announced the three titles for Blu-ray, there are no tech specs or supplemental details available as of yet. We expect further confirmation in the days ahead, so we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' has been set at $39.98, and $29.98 a pop for 'Knocked Up' and 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin.' The 3-pack bundle will list for $89.98

hile I am typically not all that big on rumour posts, one of my favourite sources for rumours, The Digital Bits Rumor Mill, is reporting potential street dates for Iron Man and The Godfather Trilogy.
Bill is rumouring the release of Iron Man to be around September 30th while Godfather is expected a week earlier on September 23r

Вполне отлично, ты всегда так прямолинейно мыслишь? Артикуляцию губ ловлю, блин, я в аглицком вообще не бель меса, вот на японском всегда позалуста! Разве не приятно новости на родном языке читать? На аглицком я на забугорных новостя всегда успею почитать. Это лично моё мнение!

А разве они уже все не проходили покадровую реставрацию для релиза на DVD? По моему уже тогда хвастались в каком огромном супермегапиксельном разрешении каждый кадр был сосканирован с плёнки. Наверное тот же мастер просто в HD и другом кодеке пережмут, и всё. В любом случае релизы ожидаемые, правда мне на эти, кроме Die Another Day, абсолютно пофиг, могут и в фтопку идти. Дайте остальные три с Броснаном!

Старые Бонды и так неплохо кажут в двд формате (при апсекейле почти блюрик!), согласен с Ленни, на голубом формате буду только Пирсовы фильмы обновлять.

В допах на ДВД о реставрации было сказано, что трансфер получился в 4К в замечательном HD качестве. Соответственно на "Блю" выйдет тот же реставрированный материал, но в HD.
